There’s No Space for Hate Mural

Mural concept for the “There’s No Space for Hate” campaign by the Dallas Office of Arts and Culture in collaboration with the Department of Code Compliance and the Federal Bureau of Investigation. This project provided an opportunity to design an artistic focal point in Dallas neighborhoods while also encouraging hate crime awareness.

My design concept goal was to pay homage to the cultural roots of the Oak Lawn/Cedar Springs neighborhood as a hub for the Dallas LGBTQ+ community while encouraging allies and residents alike to engage in hate crime reporting for their friends and neighbors.
